The path to the summit rarely follows a straight line. It requires endurance, the right equipment, and reliable rope teams. That was exactly what it was all about at the end of January on the Stoos: Under the motto "Up to the peak", we left day-to-day business down in the valley and used the opportunity to map out the route for the coming years together with our partners.
Flexibility on the mountain
We had set ourselves ambitious plans: strategy, technology and a joint snowshoe tour to the Fronalpstock, the highest peak on the Stoos. But the weather, with gusts of up to 180 km/h on the summit, disrupted our plans for the outdoor programme at short notice. It was precisely in this moment that the strength of our community became clear: flexibility and pragmatism. The planned tours were adapted, and dinner was moved from the summit restaurant down into the valley. And the focus remained where it belongs: on dialogue at eye level.
Insights from the event program
But back to the programme: in addition to exciting sessions on the Product Vision 2026+, deep dives into Airlock Microgateway and the shift from Ingress to Kubernetes Gateway API, as well as Scriptable Steps in Airlock IAM, there was also plenty of room for direct exchange. The centerpiece of the dialogue was the new "Topic Tables". Here, we interavtively discussed the topics that are currently particularly relevant to our partners and customers, including:
- Threat Radar & AI: Attacks are increasingly targeting the human factor. Deepfaces and social engineering require new defence mechanisms. The discussion showed that we need to protect not only systems, but also users more effectively.
- FIDO & Passkeys: Technically, passkeys are the future, but in practice there are still hurdles. Many customers still compare them with password managers. The take-away: passkeys have not yet had their breakthrough. This makes it all the more important to position them clearly as a secure, phishing-resistent password replacement and to explain their benefit for customers and end customers in a way that is easy to understand.
- Architecture in transition: IT landscapes are fragmented – from on-premises to the cloud. The exchange confirmed how important flexible integration options are for our partners in order to succeed in hybrid environments.

Up to the peak – the journey continues
The Partner Event 2026 showed how much we can achieve together and where the journey is heading. Even though we did not physically reach the summit this year, the direction is clear. The goal for 2027 has already been set: together with our partners, we want to reach the next peak.
Many thanks to our partners for their trust and strong collaboration. We look forward to tackling the next stage together!
