Independent Software Vendors (ISVs)

Independent Software Vendor (ISV)

An Independent Software Vendor (ISV) is a software vendor that develops and markets application programs independently of the vendors of major software platforms such as Microsoft, IBM, SAP and Oracle. "Independent Software Vendor" is thus a broad collective term for the majority of software manufacturers.

The Airlock Secure Hub protects and extends the web applications of ISVs. The ISV's cooperation with Ergon ensures that Airlock and the ISV's applications can be smoothly integrated. Airlock products are part of the ISV's reference architecture and can, but do not have to, be purchased and operated via the ISV.
