Save the Children

Every One Campaign
Some background
We were appointed by Save the Children to amplify their global Every One campaign to raise awareness around issues related to child mortality. This included designing and building a campaign website as well as additional social media elements.
Joining the debate
The Every One digital campaign offered users the opportunity to add their voice to the worldwide debate. The website posed a series of questions: ‘who has the power to change things?’, ‘what single thing would make the biggest difference?’, and ‘do you have a message you’d like to send to world leaders?’. The answers given to these were then used to build the online campaign and gather public opinion across the world. Users were able to see how others responded, as the answers are displayed on a Google Maps mash-up located on the site’s homepage.
Reach
We also utilised social media as part of the digital support for the campaign. A widget, aimed at the blogging community, provided a condensed version of the main site’s ‘answers page’, broken down in categories of sex, age and country. Also, when users completed the online survey, they were asked if they wished to compare their answers with friends on Facebook via a separate application we designed and built.
